I love to cook unfortunately my baby girl doesnt allow me much time to do anything other that deal with her.She is 6 months now and rather attached to me which makes cooking dinner for the rest of my family hard on me.If I put her down to get dinner going she screams and screams until she is losing her breath.I need some very quick and easy recipes that I can throw together in a rush after my husband gets home at 5:30. Any quick recipes that you use when you are cooking in a rush? Please let me know about them.

i make something like spaghetti that is good... i boil the water with pre-made frozen meatballs and some frozen squash (bird eye's foods make it) then add noodles, drain water, and add canned tomatoes - add garlic, onion powder, whatever seasoning you like to taste...i usually add a dash of chili powder for some kick... Another easy one we figured out was to buy Uncle Ben's 90 second rice...throw on some chicken & frozen stir fry veggies in a pot & then mix with that rice...awesome! i put the baby in a place where she can play & see me while i cook (like her bouncy chair or playpen) - and make sure she has anything she possibly needs before I get started. i also usually sing to her while i make dinner, lol.

you may want to try to get some quick n easy frozen dinners...bird's eye makes them, so do green giant and stouffers...you stick them in a pan, cook for 10 minutes stirring occasionally and voila! dinner is done.

I love using my crockpot. I just put the stuff in there in the morning and let it cook all day on low and it's done by the time hubby gets home. When my son was that little I would just put him in the exersaucer and let him stay in the kitchen and watch me so he knew I was still there with him. Maybe you can do a search for some easy and quick recipes and see if you find anything that sounds good to you.

A great and healthy recipe, cook brown rice or any other rice of your choice add a little butter or olive oil. Grab some veggies like onions, pepper, broccoli, cauliflower, add soy sauce, pepper, and sautee together. Eat with a salad it takes about 15 minutes once you have your rice cooked and it is healthy, filling and delicious!

All right, here is my hamburger and macaroni recipe. one lb of hamburger (I use lean ground beef) 3/4 cups of macaroni half large can of hot spaghetti sauce- the kind with red peppers in it sliced onions, cut up red and green peppers. spices to taste I use oregano and cilentro,, salt, and pepper mixed vegetables or corn. Brown the hamburger, add the onions, red, and green peppers, and the spices. Meanwhile boil the macaroni in salted water. When the macaroni is done, add it to the hamburger mixture, then pour on enough sauce to cover. Take out enough for the family, and freeze the rest.

hi I must say we are sailing in the same boat. The only difference here is that u like to cook and i dont.Anyways i still have ti get the dinner ready for everyone. Maybe just pick up your speed and do things when she is sleeping.Prepare things a day ago.Make wholesome salads soups ans keep them in fridge. One thing if she creams let her be on her own.Tell me for how many days is she going to scream??.Yes, if you keep runing to her its going to make things worse for you and for your baby too.You dont get everything so easily in life ands thats what you are teaching your child. As long she is safe leave her on her own but please always keep a eye on her slyly dont let her know that. Does your baby crawl.. It will be nice if we are friends we can talk about our kids.I have sent you a friendship request. All the best!!
