I try to support USA all I can. Car manufactures have a history of being imports. But apparently that has changed. I saw this article on Yahoo and it says alot of cars are now made or assembled in USA. That is good - keeps the jobs here. http://autos.yahoo.com/articles/autos_content_landing_pages/355/the-carscom-american-made-index;_ylc=X3oDMTE5MWwyc2RqBF9TAzI3MTYxNDkEc2VjA2ZwLXRvZGF5BHNsawNhbWVyaWNhbi1tYWlu My malibu is #9!

It is indeed great that these companies are moving their assembly plants to the USA. It's not new by anymeans, though. Toyota is one of the front runners in this. We took alot of flack about buying a Toyota T-100 pickup. We heard all the rants about buying american made products. Well, my response was quite simply, this truck was assembled in Long Beach Callifornia. It's great to know that these foreign companies are now returning the favor and sending jobs our way!!

We have or have had three Nissan vehicles and I do believe every one of them was built in Tennessee USA. It's nice to know that, even if the car was possibly designed in Japan, at least we can get a good, reliable, long-lasting vehicle that was assembled in America by Americans. If the United States can put a man on the moon and send people up to a space station and (mostly) bring them back safely, there's no reason we can't build reliable cars. Unfortunate truth is that the most reliable vehicles tend to be foreign made and/or designed.
