It's Not A Change - Just Part Of Growth

How often do we stop long enough to examine what we really believe about a particular subject. How often are we honestly open to change? It's not so much that we change our minds about something. It's more that someone takes the time, that they care enough to explain how they believe, which give you a greater insight into a subject. It's not necessarily a change in what you believe, but maybe, just maybe, a part of personal growth in being able to respect and understand why they believe or feel the way they do. When was the last time you were open to that kind of understanding? Can you describe what it was and how it helped you develope an expanded attitude about a particular subject?

for me it was about two years ago. here i am just going through life, waiting to see what happens. then i read a book, a book that allow me to find other books like it. I found that i am a powerful person. I found that i control my life and how it turns out. I am the author of my very own story and if I want a happen ending then i need to get off my backside and make it happen. and that is what i am doing right now today. I am living my life, i am taking part in my future. so today with the knowledge that i have learned, i am so open to other things. i say yes more often. i allow myself to be in the right please at the right time. and now i am ready to take what i have learned and share it with everyone who will listen. Run your life, or Life will run you....

I like what you said, 'taking part in my future'. So many people don't. They sit back and just let it unfold, not participating in it. Know what I mean? You're so awesome.....
