Setting up an Ebay Business

I am a stay at home mum looking to start up a business (or get an at home job . . . if they actually exsist!) Can anyone help with how to set up and make an Ebay business work? And how can you be sure it is an item that will sell well on Ebay, I am prepared to invest some money, but can't if it isnt going to work! Please help!

I'm not attracted by eBay as for me (but maybe in the future) but I think it can really work if you learn the right process. So please don't invest any more before acquiring knowledge. For example I'm currently focused on Affiliates Program, I'm reading articles and ebooks before comminting any money and when I will commit money it will be in a low risk way. Try to find free articles and ebooks there are plenty you know.
