Where do you usually get references when you have projects?

I usually preferred to go internet cafe and surf than going to the library because I am much comfortable to surf the net and I do think that the net provides a lot information compared to library which will only be limited to the available books they have inside. And besides, going to the library and finding the exact book that would answer to your research is time consuming. For references I usually go on free-ed.net site, a free online education site that offers many different courses and free references. They have a lots of topics there and you can just choose what course falls your query. When I have questions about how to use internet well, about basic programming, I get my references there. How about you, guys?
