Is Peyton Manning overrated?

I like Peyton Manning. I think he is a great quarterback, but I don't think he is the greatest, or one of the greatest. He won the big game last year and previously, before today, he's lost most of his big games to Tom Brady. I know the quarterback isn't 100% of the offense, but they play a big part. To me, the components to greatness outside of stats - Win the big games, come from behind victories, or get so far out ahead that the other team can't regain the lead. Where Manning kind off falls is coming from behind. In Today's game, he had a great first half, but couldn't finish off the Chargers. Then when the Chargers went ahead late in the fourth quarter, he has two drives to lead a touchdown drive, but was unsuccessful. If this had happened against the Pats, I'd almost give him a pass as that is his obstacle (like Kosar could never beat Elway and the Broncos in the post-season), but at home against the Chargers? He showed that other teams outside his achilles heel can beat him. Liking both teams and both quarterbacks, I wasn't rooting for either team today, but I expected Manning to orchestrate a come from behind victory. What do you think? Does Manning rate as one of the greatest, or great, or overrated?

I see this discussion was started 5 years ago so I really don't know what Manning was like at that time as far as a player, but let me say that now we all know that Manning can come from behind to win games and that his stats show that he is one of the greatest quarterbacks in the league. I will give Brady his right that he is a good quarterback as well. I don't think that he is or ever will be as good as Manning. #18 rocks the house and this season with the Colts without him proved it!!
