Well I prefer baking over cooking all the time. It's easy, less messy and above all I don't have to stand at the stove stirring the contents of the pot :). What could be easier then set it and forget it. I usually bake 5 out of 7 of our meals in a week and even for deserts too. And did I mention it's healthy as well. I've eliminated 90% of frying by baking and now we eat baked chicken and fish instead of fried one.

I never bake because my husband is always on a diet and doesn't want to eat fattening foods.

I don't bake very often because I eat too much of it! I live alone, so a loaf of bread or a batch of cookies will last (should last, rather) quite awhile.

I like cooking. I even bought a professional oven last year. However, after baking the pizza, chicken and cake for several times, I don't bake it any more. As I don't have enough spare time.

Unless you count casseroles and baked chicken, I only bake about once a week. I would be in the kitchen all day everyday baking if I could. I love to bake, but it would go to waste around here if I did.

I bake whenever I have a craving for something. My mother in law does most of the baking as she backs quite a few times through the week and always sends stuff over for us.

Not to often. I'd probably do it more if I could be bothered, kate often cookes and bakes cookies and things and apart from that we don't really. I'd love to do it more often but generally there isn't much need =) ~Joey

I try to bake at least 3-5 tomes a week. Sometimes it doesn't workout so well. Life is just so busy it is hard to make time for baking.

I think you are so right, we don't make enough time anymore. The last time I baked was I think for Thanksgiving. I used to bake all the time, I love it but have gotten too lazy to real bake these days. Especially when you can just mircrowave everything now, it makes baking seem like a long process. It's rather cold today though so I think I'll make the time to do some baking and warm up the apartment. Thanks for the idea!

I don't bake alot I will maybe bake a cake or some brownies once a week so my family will have something to munch on but I don't do all the holiday baking with bread and cookies and pies and such as I am not that good at it.
