How do you purify your drinking water

Do you drink straight off the tap or do you buy drinking water? If not what do you use to purify your water. I used to buy the water at Rs 28 per 20 liters but now have started using the HLL PureIt purifier. It claims to be as safe as boiled water. It doesnt change the taste of the water though, but thats not too bad. I heard RO (Reverse Osmosis) is the best, but is expensive. Wanna share what you do? Go ahead
