I like Disturbed as well, though I THINK they're Nu Metal technically. I confess I don't know enough Metallica (crazy I know... I get distracted trying to listen to every band ever lol), but what I've heard I like. Do you like Mudvayne?

Those are Nu Metal, which isn't technically a sub-genre of metal :)

Yep! Nu Metal sort of comes from metal... it has metal and rap influences, among a few others, so it's not like they're not related. I love Mushroomhead, Mudvayne, Soil, Stereomud, etc and they're all Nu Metal. But if you tell a hardcore metalhead that any of those bands are metal, they'll eat you alive. So I'm just helping lol

Okay super crazy! I went through a Christian rock phase when I was maybe... 12, and that was one of the bands I liked. Who did Jesus Freak? Or was that a band? It was sooo long ago...
