Short 30 minutes with Mary Hart making the announcements.Negotiations have all but come to a halt.Writers give a thumbs down for a pass on the Oscars.Anyone anjoy watching the Oscars? Could be the shortest Oscar show in History.

It is a shame that there have now been two award shows cancelled because of the strike. I do not really see what the problem would be to have stars go to the awards. The writer strike should not have any bearings on the awards but what do I know. It is a shame that there are a lot of people that are being hurt by this writers strike. It is a shame that money is at the heart of most problems. Everyone wants more money and less work. I would love more money and less work but that doesn't happen for the everyday working man. I personally do not watch the award shows at all. I just know that when the award shows come on they plug the actors as well as movies. This makes people want to go see movie and spend money. This stike is getting rediculous. When is enough enough?
