In a relationship, what do you consider to be an acceptable age difference?

I dated someone 11 years older than me and we got along really well. I dont see anything wrong with it as long as you both are truly happy and that you are able to accept that one will probably check out sooner than the other.

I think age and age difference matters much less than that magic thing 'compatibility'. On the whole, the older you are, the less it matters what the difference in your physical age is. It's much more important how young at heart you both are and that you enjoy each other's company. Of course, family and friends have their own ideas, but once they see that two people, of whatever age difference, obviously love each other, they slowly come round!
