Do you feel proud to be living in your country? I am proud to be a Canadian an show my countries flag on my bag when I travel. I have heard some American are not proud of what is happening to the US and it role in the world today. Some people are not even mentioning that they are from the US. What is your opinion? How proud are you of your country?

I am lucky I can be proud of two countries. Bonnie Scotland where I was born and raised. USA where I am now a proud citizen.

I don't go around saying I'm proud to be where I'm from and I certainly don't carry or wear the flag. One place is just as good as another I guess. I lived overseas for a few years and I loved it. There were many things I loved about living there. There's things I like about where I was born and a lot of things I don't. I just don't go crazy with the feeling pride thing. Pride is a feeling I really wouldn't associate with. But that's not to say I'm ashamed either. I just don't think much about it. That reminds me when I lived overseas I had a Canadian roommate she always carried around a knapsack/book bag type thing with the Canadian flag on it.
