That's right they started the 80's american gladiators all over with a whole new pack of gladiator I will have to say the joust is my new favorite they did some tweaking and added a water pit instead of those stupid mats. It's so funny to watch them fall into the water and have to swim all the way back up after they have the snot knocked out of them .. Have you seen the new American Gladiators? What do you think of it? What is your favorite event?

Just a tad bit busy, to be truthfully honest after the third child you really don't notice that much of a difference in the work load.. My two oldest are exactly a year and 9 days apart. Your daughter is 18 months now I would worry that much. You should be ale to have some time to sleep. Hmmmm Baby brain only when it came to my car keys and where I parked the car toher than that I was fine with my jobs. I think the funniest thing was when tyler was born and he had colic and I was getting one hour of sleep a night and going to college and taking care of my daughter and going through a seperation. You never truly know what you are capable of until you are in the face of adversity. YOu know I wouldn't worry about them being really close in age like I said my first two are a yr and 9 days apart and they are very close to eachother partners in crime close. You'll do fine don't worry about pulling your hair out that comes later when they are older and can double team ya better. Let's see how did I manage when they were itsy bitsy. Hmmm, I made sure the baby needs were met and when they baby would nap I spent special time with the other and reassured her she was still my baby toosince she was only a yr when her brother was born I made sure that I had her and him both taken care of. You'll be surprised how easy multi tasking comes to you when you need it. You'll be fine. There is no need for you to worry. It' seems like forever since they were itsy bitsy. I kinda miss those times.

I have not taken the time to watch this one but I use to be a fan of the one aired in the 80's. I was unsure that it would be "up to snuff" with the old one...maybe I will check it out.

I have to say it's up to snuff. I am really enjoying how they have done some minor changes like using water in the joust and mainly it's the same type of elimnations and events with some changes. But it's on Mondays at 8pm est. on NBC where I live. I was afriad that I was going to be so disappointed watching it. But it actually something that I will be glued to the t.v. during that time. Also you can catch up with the episodes on line at www.nbc.com/americangladiators . You can watch the full episodes on line and just check everything out. Have fun and check out hte site.

We've been watching the new one and it is awesome. My boys (6 and 4--the 5 month old is there but not watching) love it. They like assault when the gladiators get pulled back into the water. We make it a game. In the beginning we pick which color we are going to root for. Sometimes we all root for the same people and sometimes we don't. My favorites are Titan, Toa, Wolf, Crush, and Siren.

I love the new American Gladiators and have watched it every week this season. The male Gladiators are huge and overpowering. The women are pretty darn strong and fast as well and Hellga is a monster. I like how they made some changes but not too many. I like the pyramid as the contestants have struggled to get up to the top. The Gladiators have dominated that event. I like the Joust as well.

Mike Adamlee needs to come back. I like Ali and the Hulk, but they are no Mike Adamlee from the original series. Plus is it me, or are the Gladiators' names just wimpy? Helga? Wolf? Come on! Bring back Ice, Nitro, Turbo, Tower, Lace, Zap and Siren! Heck, even Hawk was a better name from the first AG series than the ones they have now. The creators had no creativity when naming the AGs. I know there is a Siren on the new show, but she can't hold a candle to the REAL Siren from the older show. The events are updated, which I like, especially the water portion of the eliminator and falling into a pit of water rather than foam gym mats, but it's good entertainment. I did hear that it got excellent ratings when it debuted. But now that the crappy American Idol show is back, it'll be blown out of the water.

LOL, I don't think american idol will blow it out of the water. because AG is on monday night and AI is on Tuesday night. But you should see the assult I laughed my but off they added a water thing to that too. Instead of when the competitor hit the target it smokes the gladiator now they are attached to a pully system and when the target is hit they are thrown into a pool of water I laughed so hard. I loved it. Yeah I agree the names are week but the gladiators still look like gladiators. Did you notice they seem to be more complementary than the other before them. Meaning they compliment the competitors when they try hard and are really nice people. The old was were nice to but they didn't go out of there way to show it. I posted a site in the first response where you can see the new episodes if you missed any. Have a nice day.
