Does anyone think Wade is the right man?

Does anyone think Wade is the right man or is he just buying time for Jason Garrett? I would almost be OK with J. Garrett becoming the head coach next year and keeping Wade as a D-Coordinator.

Tying a franchise best in wins his first season as head coach is pretty impressive. As for the playoff loss, I blame the Coordinator for that mess. Garrett failed to change up things when the running game stalled in the 2nd half....and the O-Line was getting boxed out the whole 4th quarter and no adjustments were made.

Good point! With the receiving corps banged-up, the Giants did the right thing by stuffing the run and forcing the Cowboys into the passing game. They clearly weren't in sync and yet they still almost won that game. At anyhwere near 100%, Dallas looks to clearly be the cream of the NFC crop.

Well with this being Wades first season, we made the play offs so he did something many teams didn't. J Garrett is probably going to be gone next year to a head coaching job, he has had interveiws. I like wade but time will tell on this one. I don't want garrett to go but he is good and alot of teams will offer up the big cash to get him so I wish him the best. Lets give wade and the boys some time and see what happens ok

Keep in mind this was his 1st season with the Cowboys and it was successful despite the playoff loss. They went 13-3 and you don't get rid of a coach after 1 year with that record. Now if he does worse, then decide from there. I seriously would keep him but as far as Garrett, we don't know if he's ready for the job or not. I don't believe he has ever coached before as a head coach. Before anyone gets on Romo's case about it, let's look at how many times was it said about Peyton Manning not being able to win the big one until last year.

Oh I don't know. I think Wade did a pretty good job, but there were mistakes made and someone will have to go. I think that if the want to keep Garrett they will have to offer him something.

In coaching, I think timing is everything. Wade was the right man this season because he came right after Parcells and gave the Cowboys a lighter approach which is something they probably needed this season. It might be good for 1 or 2 more years and then they will need some other type of approach. I think all professional franchises go through similar circumstances.
