I'm a bit excited that American Idol is starting back up. I was a little disappointed in last season but I was preoccupied with a new born. I really enjoyed all the previous season and am eagerly awaiting tomorrow's premeire. I love the early shows with all the reject contestants. they crack me up. especially those who think they are gods gift to singing and really are horrible.

hi i am in australia and we use to get american idol and i loved it,then for some reason we stopped getting it,but now it is going to come back on soon.we just finished australian idol afew weeks ago and i was really into it,as a friend of my daughters was into the top 12 ,so we had all the behind the scenes gossip and we new a lot that was going on before it aired so it made it more exciting to know someone.he did not win though.it was a bit sad when he left.but oh well.cheers sue

I am also excited about the new season of American Idol... the last season was not a big disappointment but i just don't like how they used Sanjaya to garner a lot of publicity... but nevertheless... i expect the unexpected to happen this season... and i think they added some feature like allowing the contestants to use musical instruments... i also can't wait to find out who will act as mentors to the top 12...
