Stillness in a photo

This is a photo that I took a while ago.
It's a picture of a New England building and a tree that has lost all its leaves. The snow had descended on it all overnight, and the park is covered with snow. The majesty of the tall tree dwarves the park benches and there is an amazing stillness conveyed through the photo.
I especially love the outline of snow on the lower boughs of the dark tree. the contrast of ebony and ivory is so beautiful.
Do you like taking photos? Don't you think it's amazing how a photo can convey stillness that is almost palpable?
