When was the last time you have been out of your city?

I was thinking today, and I found out I haven't been out of my town for almost a year. To much duties, yeah, but I'm the one who says there is always time for resting. Unfortunately, there is to much to do at the moment, so I think that period will become even a full year. I love my city, but I want to see the outside world. That's definitely I have to do in this year. So, when was the last time you've been out of your hometown? Was it work, or a vacation?

Well, seeing as I live in a small village in England, I'll replace city with county. Let's see, the last time I left it was back round Christmas when I went to stay with friends for the holidays, and they live in Wales. And that was my second visit in a month! But I'm between jobs at the moment so I could afford to do so time wise.

I went on vacation to the Oregon coast in the 2nd week of Nov. I live in Eugene, OR. and it takes about 2-2.5 hours to drive through the mountains to get to the coast, depending which city you want to get too. It was a vacation and I stayed 2 days in a house on the coast in the tsunami danger zone. Great time, would like to go back soon again.
