Has anybody here taken food supplements. The ones with the note saying no therapeutic claim? With so many food supplement in the market it's so hard to find one that is really effective. They all seem too good to be true. They all claim to detoxify, cleanse your system and cure you of all ailments. Have you ever found yourself in these dilemma?

Yes - I have taken several kinds. I have gluten and lactose issues so it was always a challenge to find supplements that don't contain those. Then, in June 2007, a friend introduced me to Isagenix. No therapeutic claims there either but I can tell you from personal experience and the experiences of several of my friends - this stuff really works. I've lost quite a bit of weight and my health has turned around. I was regularly taking medication for acid reflux due to my dietary issues. Even that has gone away. No more medications!

I did take some dietary supplement, but it did say it was good for losing weight, not to take other things with it I have not taken anything that was supposed to do all the things it claimed to be. If I had and it did not work, I would have supposed that in my case, it made an exception - that it may be designed for a select group that I was not a part of. Things that require a mental attitude to work do not work on me.
