Oprah Winfrey has reached a deal with Discovery Communications to operate OWN: The Oprah Winfrey Network. OWN will be taking the place of the Discovery Health channel. Oprah will have complete control over OWN, although they are currently looking for a CEO.
Oprah recently lost her place as America's favorite TV celebrity to Ellen Degeneres. The Harris Poll was as follows:
1. Ellen Degeneres
2. Oprah
3. Jay Leno
4. Hugh Laurie
5. Jon Stewart
6. David Letterman
7. Stephen Colbert
8. Bill O'Reilly
9. Ray Romano
10. Homer Simpson
Oprah was number one on the list for the past five years.
What will OWN be like? Will it just be the Oprah show aired non-stop? Is the world ready for this? Is Oprah slowly taking over the entire world?

maybe ellen will start her own network and the gays will slowly take over the entire world.
