NEW HOBBY--playing guitar

hello everyone! what are your hobbies or skills? For me, i'm still starting a new hobby which is playing guitar. It's been my wish that i would know how to play the guitar until few months ago that i was given the opportunity to start learning about it. As of now, i can play the easy chords and some of the not so easy ones. I'm really excited about this new skill that i'm doing. How about you? Are you learning a new skill or do you want to learn something new? What would that be?

Well I hope this message finds you still eager to learn to play the guitar!
I have been playing guitar for many years, and the thing about learning to play guitar is the same for every thing else! Once you can get started, never give up, keep the faith going, it doesn't matter whether you learn a little or not, what's important is that you never give up, and eventually, you'll get to the point at which you will get momentum, and then it's easy learning all the way!
I have never regretted starting to play! And yes, there were hundreds of times when it seemed useless, and boring, but in time I have become to be a very good guitar player, and people praise me for the way I play guitar!
For me the road was a long one, but it was worth it, and always remember,"the sun is shining on the other side of that mountain"!

hi musicman6! thank you so much for the encouragement. I've really stop learning right now. It's good to know you have also experienced feeling useless and boring for now getting it right inspite of the willingness tho learn. So now i know it's just normal and if only i will pursue what i want, i will still get it as you have, and now even very good and is getting praises from others.

Wow! That's good to hear from you pal. You're learning something new uhuh?. Actually, I once learned how to play the guitar but sad to say, I lost interest sooner or later. I easily get tired during the practice and a really shame on my part. I was able to play the song Father and Son but not the whole of it. Nowadays, i don't think I can still remember the chords..ehehehhee..Keep it up! ;)
