Thanks for the information zenith2007, I like the stylish MacBook Air it's great. To be honest with you I dont use MAC OS, So even if I want to buy one the Operating System is not for me. I like Microsoft better because I know how to use it and I'm used to it.

Even though I use Mac seems to be a good news and that is why I have written here. One step forward, which may also give a boost to other manufacturers to build small PC with good performance.

I got an email about that and thought it was a scam. But it's nice to know it's real. I'm looking into buying a laptop and might consider this one in a year or so once it's been out for a while and there are no bugs in it. As with any product you should wait a year or so for them to work out the bugs because if not you just spent almost two grand on something that could be defective or not worth the money. Are you considering buying it?

I agree with you: we need to wait a bit before buying one thing that is newly created. But in the technology seems too wait for a year could become obsolete.
No I am not going to buy one because I do not use a Mac. I reported the news because it seemed to me very interesting reduction measures while maintaining good performance.

I've seen the Macbook Air and loved it! it's so slim and sleek..very beautiful. Cant get over its slimness. But it doesn't come with an optical drive so that's one of the drawback I think..coz I would like to have my own cd-rom drive. although it's an advantage for apple in a way..

It looks so beautiful. My sister has a dell Laptop that's rather large and heavy, so this would be very nice. I could stick it in my backpack and its only 3 pounds. The price is reasonable I guess since most ultraportable laptops are about the same price, but bigger in size. I guess the missing optical drive isn't that bad since you can use networked computers' or use an external.
