Are you patiently waiting for spring,or are you sitting on the edge of your chair ? It's too cold outside here to really do anything yet.So are you impatiently waiting to get to your gardening or yard work ? Maybe you have something different to plant this year or maybe your going to plant a garden.Maybe you want to get outside and paint your house or build a deck, put in a new driveway, put up a fence ? What are you waiting to do outside this spring ?

Its good to put it into a plan ahead of time. You will see such an improvement when all your plans get finished.

I am planning on putting a patio out by my back steps. I use that door all the time and it would be fun to have a nice place to sit in the morning and have coffee if I want to. Also for entertaining. I did a bunch of landscaping last year and this year I'll add more rock and plants.

A patio is always nice for somewhere to go to relax, sip coffee, watch the birds. Its nice to have a nice area outside for your company you invite over also.Sounds like your going to be keeping yourself very busy outside this spring. Its going to be even prettier with the rocks and plants. Its comming,it'll soon be here, just have to hang tight just a little longer.Enjoy working your plans out this spring. Thanks for the comments.

I can't wait or spring...I love going on long walks outside so this time of year I get cabin fever. I'd like to start a garden this year and make a compost bin for fruit and veggie scraps, shrub and grass trimmings, and leaves.

Looking forward to taking walks sounds good.I don't even like to go outside when it is so cold.I'll be glad when it finally warms up.I remember my having a garden and I was so proud of the zuccinni I grew because it can grow so large. I loved baking zuccinni bread.I don't bake anymore because my husband is always on a diet and he won't eat it but boy was it good.Have fun this spring.

We plan to extend our house! A ground-floor shower room and bedroom. I am disbaled and finding it difficult to manage the stairs. I am also hoping that some of my spring bulbs will flower - unfortunately it looks as if the squirels have dug them up and eaten them!!

That will be nice, extending the house, something I'd like to do.Even though I'm not disabled I hate stairs anyway. Its too easy to fall down them which I did once and just got bruised up.It was scary though.I was rushing that day to get out of the house. Now I'm real slow going up and down and using the handrail. The squirrels are good for that.I've had them dig up my bulbs also.Have fun this spring.

Outside of planting some more herbs, and repairing the gutters on the studio (we converted the garage into a pottery studio), I am not planning on doing much this coming season. On the other hand, who knows what the wife has plans to do. For some reason, I end up getting roped into her outside projects. So it is hard telling what I am going to end up doing before the season is over.
