Star ratings

I gave each and every one of your responses, as well as everyone else on this post a positive rating. I hope it helps. I've been at a 4 since I started. Can't really complain. Purple is my favorite color, though I'd love to get higher. I haven't been higher than this purple star. I see people with 10s and 9s and right now, that's my goal!

I suggest you invite a lot of friends with a rating of 9 or 10... most likely these mylot members are also the ones in the habit of giving a positive rating to all those who respond to their discussions... that is actually a habit of mine... other than that, try to post lengthy and descriptive responses... these are the ones that are really appreciated... it would also be nice to be always polite and to thank people who responded to your discussions...

My is 7 but once I got an 8. I was also surprised how I got 8 but it was only for a day. I deserve that 7 star rating only because I seldom do have a chance to open the net. But everytime I open the net I make sure tio open mylot.

I guess it has to do with how other mylotters rate your posts and responses so i think it takes a little bit of luck maybe post longer responses and you will get a better rating good luck to you on reaching a number 9 star!

I don't really know how the whole star things works and I think no one really does. I think that there are several things that go with it. I mean there is the whole highly rated posts and then there is the length of post thing. I have been striving to increase the length of my posts. I can't do anything about what other people think.
