Chocolate or vanilla?

I love both of them especially in Ice Creams. But like they say, you just can't love both things the same way. So I must choose, which is which. If there are only two (2) Ice Cream flavors in the universe and I will have to choose only 1 flavor to eat in my lifetime, I'd probably go for Vanilla. I think I can consider it to be a universal flavor, it tastes good in almost any dessert. They come usually as a food base. And as old saying goes - a good foundation is always the best! How about you? Chocolate or Vanilla?

I like them both. I find it amuseing that chocolate and vanilla are always pitched against each other because it creates the impression that they are being compared as opposites to each other, when in reality the opposite of chocolate would be lemon, or garlic or something.

I think if I had to choose between the two I would have to go for the vanilla as well, it is such a soothing flavour, I love it it in anything, I go crazy for custard, the cartons you can buy in the supermarket, I don't even heat it i just eat straight from the carton, I love it...
