Would gulp down a bowl of soup made from cow's balls, intestines, and other cow's insides? I will share my story... ********************* One night, our cellgroup decided to go to a red light district, not to to some hanky panky, but to eat. There in the the midst of that place was a small eatery that serves Soup #5. Soup #5 is a soup made from cow's balls mixed with some innards like heart and spleen, slowcooked to become tender and made flaming hot with chopped chilis and crushed black pepper. It was well seasoned, too, and accentuated with a few slices of carrots and potatoes. The soup was thickened by some cornstarch. Sipping the hot soup made our foreheads dripping with sweat, but it was so good that we wanted more. Never mind the arthritis or the uric acid it contains, plus the cholesterol and globs of fat floating on the surface of the soup. Each one of us had a bowl, because the waitress told us that a bowl is only good for one person. But it was a BIG bowl and we had to finish everything. Aside from that, we ordered rice with viand served on sizzling plates with some appetizer on the side. We had full stomachs afterwards that we decided to take a walk. Gee, it took quite some time for our stomachs to digest everything we had eaten! I was told before that Soup #5 is aprhodisiac. I dunno, it didn't really have an effect on me of that sort, except that I was so full afterwards. Aphrodisiac or not, it is one dish that you shouldn't miss!:-) I loved it!:-) or maybe because the way it was cooked in the restaurant. Would you try this?

um, i've tried several times but my imagination is just so active that i can't get past the spoon when i try to sip soup #5. it's funny 'cause my husband always used soup #5 as a fun "test" on all of his girlfriends before he met me. he would only consider being serious with a girl if the girl ate soup #5. the funny thing is i was the only girl he was never able to use soup #5 on and i we still ended up together. ;)

Hello spoiled311, I am not an adventurous person when it comes to food. I am very particular and choosy about my food. There are so many do's and dont's for me. I don't think I can drink that soup No.5, as you mentioned here. Seeing the ingredients already made me feel dizzy!

Call me a wimp but I'm pretty sure I would not even try soup no.5. I'm sure my husband would though. It makes me wonder what soups 1 through 4 are made from.
