Do you rate answers?

Do you rate all answers? If you don't like some ones answer do you give it a (minus) - or nothing at all? If I like an answer I give it a (plus) + if I don't like it or agree, I don't give any thing. By rating you are helping that person move up on on rankings. I like to see my ranking go up. Shows I'm on her too often lol.

Nice thing, you suggested. I will try my level best not to rate others mainly because I dont know whether they are ranking me or not. I personaly feel that mylot should have a mechanism to check the interpersonal ranking. But your attitude is negative. It should be always remembered that positive attitude always pays. You should rate the comments and help others climb the ladder and spread the message for that. it will enhance your chance to get more points if you are genuine....er... I feel.

I don't understand your saying my attitude is negative. I give a plus to every one that positively contributes to my discussion. If they give a bad or rude answer they don't get any thing. I rarely give a minus.

I rate only if I can give plus....like others say, maybe minus for very rude answers... It should be fun anyway....:) HUGS!

I rate every response I get. I give almost everyone a +, even if I don't really like their response, as long as they aren't rude. I do sometimes give a "-" to someone who is very, very rude, but I reserve them for the worst cases. I don't like skipping responses for two reasons: 1) Because mylot wants us to rate. 2) Because the rating is part of how I determine which comments or responses I have and haven't read. With really good discussions, there will be separate threads of comments going under several responses, so it can be hard to keep up with. So knowing I haven't read something because I haven't rated it yet helps.

If it's pages and pages of responses I don't take the time too. I'll read through the page, maybe the second and give a + to responses I though the people at least tried with. If it's one I started well then I rate pretty much all the responses it gets. Assuming I thought some effort went into it whether or not it was in agreeance with what I originally said. If I think no or little effort went into it I just don't rate it. No need to be mean just because they have another opinion no?

I read somewhere that you make more if you rate your discussions with best response and all that but not sure exactly what it equals out to. I'll + a response I like but only - a response if a person is ignorant or rude about something, or if they are promoting their referral link to a scam site which surprisingly happens ALOT on my lot. The poeple aren't trying to scam but they have no idea their great new site doesn't pay you. No one does their homework anymore, everyone wants to get rich quick.

I do. I just started and thought how much help it'll bring to that person.
