Hockey game.

My hubby got some free tickets to go see a hockey game. We get to sit in a box, along with about 10 others from the company that owns the box. My hubby knows these people from work. They are a supplier that he uses. We get served a supper and all the drinks we want to drink, so I will have to stay sober so he can drink, which is no big deal to me, because I'm not much of a drinker anyways. Apparently we will get treated like royalty. Now I don't have a clue who is playing except that it is a national game. And I don't care who is playing because I don't watch hockey, but my hubby does. I am just happy to be going out and not cost us a fortune to go. Do you ever get free tickets to do see stuff like this? Does it matter to you if you don't like the game, do you still want to go? Plaese share your story.

yes i have had free tickets to go see hockey (which i actually like) disney on ice (before i had kids) figure skating (which was so boring!) and football (which i dont get at all!) have fun, eat lots and dont be upset if your hubby doesnt talk to you much! (you may want to take some knitting along! LOL)

I got taken to a hockey game on a date once. Does that count as a free ticket? LOL Ok, if it doesn't then here's a good one. Our whole family got tickets to the Monster Truck Nationals last year. It was the first time that any of us had gone to a truck rally before. We had such a great time.

Oh my gosh I'm so green with envy right now. We are definately cheap-o's and if it's free it's for me are the words we live by. Lol We get alot of free baseball tickets and just minor legue stuff that will happen around post (military family) and even if we don't like base ball or the rodeo or what ever we go and take the kids becuase it's nice to get out of the house and not spend a butt load. Plus the kids enjoy the crowd and noice and spectial of it all.
