My daughter is 4 and although many of you might suggest that i'd be a bad mother, i let her watch all categories listed in the title. i do read what the movie is about for pg-13s but i see no problem in letting her watch it. my husband would go berserk and double check to see what i'm letting our child see but really now, what harm can it do? as a child my father let us do what we wanted to do. war movies were my particular favorite as a child and i didn't grow up to be crazy violent! i do however even at the age of 22 like to imagine myself in a war. :p so what about you? do you let your children watch up to pg-13 movies? do you think what children watch affects them as an adult?

You might not see it today but as the child grows older, you will see the results in her actions and attitudes, including the lifestyle she wants to be. And you will feel the regret later. Everything has its consequences. It might be felt today, tomorrow, next month, next year, or many years from now. But surely, be prepared for it will come/happen someday. I hope it helps. If not, please accept my apology!

I do give her all the attention that I can provide plus raising her as a good Mther should by doing Mother and Daughter activities. I don't know if letting her watch PG-13 movies would affect her personalities as she grows up but I think it might help give her a more open mind. :) And no, no need to apologize! :) I thank you for taking the time to respond though!
