Super Bowl time... Party or quiet night?

With the conference championship games this weekend, it only means that the Super Bowl is right around the corner once again. Do you like to do anything big for Super Bowl? Maybe you can go to a friend's home where there is a big party, or maybe you throw one yourselves? Do you even watch the game? What are your plans for Super Bowl Sunday? Maybe they have nothing to do with football; I admit I might go shopping or get out of the house and work out if the matchup is not good. Getaway day perhaps?

We had a small party. Four people cam over. We had pizza and chips. The usual Superbowl fare. Yes we watched the game. I looked forward to the commercials. Which were pretty good this year

Well, if I had seen this discussion when it was first posted, my response would have been "I'm going to my mothers to sit with my family while they watch the game." But, no one went to my moms, so I worked earlier today and am goofing off on the computer while my husband suffers through the horrid commercials. Maybe they'll be better for the 2nd half...

Before I quit my job to take on a better one I was planning on taking a vacation day and then having a Super Bowl party. But now with the new job starting up I won't have any vacation time so I'm going to have to go in that Monday morning so I won't be able to do any partying. I'll probably have one or two people come over and just watch the game and enjoy the commercials, maybe have some chips and dip. Nothing too big.
