Not only in our place but in most places corruption is rampant. But it is the people themselves who makes a government or a country corrupt. I hate people doing that and on my own little way I am trying not to be corrupt. I work hand on hand, I followed rules and regulations and just pray and discuss with people like you how we can reduce if not eliminate corruption. Be simple, dont reach for the star if you cant, just live within your means, be contented.

Hello, bagumbayan! corruption, now a days, is rampant through out the world.in every departments of government corruption is openly practiced.the corruption begins from the top,ie.minister to bureaucrats, engineers, doctors, and the junior level officers all take bribe to do some favor to some body.even they can do the illegal things when got the bribe and they never do the legal things without bribe.for this,of course, we the citizens are responsible.giving bribe, itself,is illegal.for eradicating corruption anti-corruption departments are there but of no use because the staff of anti-corruption departments are also corrupt.thank you.

corruption, what WE can do about it? i think we can not stop it unless we do not elect those people who have a track record of corruption. without juicy power and projects, they can't corrupt anymore. i think it is best to put a system that rewards people to be honest and punish people who are corrupt. it seems like the corrupt people are being rewarded when they still get elected.

Since there are no response from other countries, I would like to give some comments.
The answer to corruption is a changed and transformed life and the only answer is Jesus Christ. If our country is a real Christian nation, the corruption will not be a problem. But since it is not, although religious, corruption will continue.
But we can start with ourselves and I appreciate you for trying not to be corrupt!

Thanks for the reply. Jesus Christ can help, but remember the saying it is us human who will do it, god will only guide. If you and me will not be a part of the corruption, and the other mylotters, then it will make a difference.
