Thanks to George Bush jr. a lot of people's credit will be messed up for 7 years after losing their house to forclosure. He was the one that made it easier for just about anyone to buy a house with an adjustable morgage. He did this with his plan of putting money into the economy. Thanks George Bush, because of you my daughters house will probably go into forclosure. She has tried everything to prevent forclosure but so far has not been able to find a way.She has one last hope up her sleeve to try and negosiate the adjustable morgage with Chase by signing some papers of hardship to get the adjustable morgage extended or something worked out.Guess what ? Its not just affecting home owners now,it is also affecting business's.Business's have some adjustable morgages also. Now some business's are letting some people go because of their morgage troubles. Thanks George Bush,You sure know how to sock it to us ! What did we ever do to you ? How would you like to thank George Bush ?

What happened to personal choice? If you sign an adjustable rate mortgage then you know that there is a possibility of the rate going up as well as down. I would never buy any thing that has the possibility of going up or down. Nor would I buy a house that could have a balloon payment at the end.

A lot of people took the bait, hook line and sinker and it has sunk a lot of people.A fixed rate would have been the better answer but people couldn't afford the higher morgage, so just to get into buying a house they took the adjustable without realising it would go up so high and raise up every 6 months and that would lead them into foreclosure.I don't know why people didn't just forget buying a house if they couldn't afford the fixed morgage. The only thing I can think of is maybe there were some hidden facts.Maybe they weren't told that their morgage would eventually go up every 6 months.I think that if people knew what they were getting into that they wouldn't do it.I think that some information must have been covered up just to get people to buy.I don't know for sure but they must have been tricked into it.

cheesehater,I guess smart people would enter into this adjustable morgage. My daughter is very smart and could read at the age of 3 years old.Its not just stupid people that have done this. There must have been some hidden facts or why would smart people also be involved in this ? I don't think smart people would have done this just to lose their house.

I live in the UK, but I am very sorry to hear this has happened. I cannot say I am surprised because all governments are the same.

From now on I am calling them PRESI-DENSE because they are just so out of touch with reality! I feel really bad for your daughter. She should have gotten a fixed rate. Have you looked into Kevin Trudeau's Debt Cures book? From what I hear, he has a lot of good information in there to help people with their debt issues.
