It's tax season!

I have never done my own taxes. I alway go to H & R Block. This year I think Im going to go to a different company than H&R Block because last year My husband and I were married and had a kid and we only got back $700 so I think he messed up somewhere! So I will go to a different place this year. We always file as soon as we get our W-2's. We just cant wait to get the money back!!

We go to H&R Block. Not because we like the company itself, but because we like the people at the local office. They're nice and remember our names even though we only see them once a year, which is pretty amazing to me! :p Actually, my husband and I have already done ours for this year, because we hope to get our refund as soon as possible.

As soon as we get our w-2s I sit down and do them. Then we go to J. Hewitt. They go over it and make sure I did it right and take off deductions that I didn't know about. Then they elecronically file them for us. Thats cheaper than actually having them do the whole thing. Usually we get them to deposit it right into our checking account. but this year we don't have one so I guess we'll be waiting on the check. Oh well.
