paper over or paper under on the toilet paper roll?

It doesn't bother me if it's over or under as long as there is toilet paper there.

we're a paper over family... hey flanders, let me borrow your mower...

I know paper under looks the best, but I like it over cause when I am in a hurry,I can just hit the roll and it falls down real fast, making the job go quicker!

I put it over. I think somewhere along the line of life I read that this is the proper way to put it!

Under looks more uniform. But over. If it is the other way I change it too.

I personally don't really care which way the toilet paper roll goes, it's toilet paper...just use it! Until my husband finally let his secret pet peeve out during one argument, I didn't realize it was important to some people. So, I have to say paper over the roll and here's a photo to show what I consider OVER to be.

Paper over for definite, i hate the paper under, it's awkward under.

over for sure ... its harder to get the toilet paper when its under... you have to actually look for it

not sure which way is right but you sure know when it is on wrong when you try to get a piece and it gets all jammed up. expecially in the dispensers in public places like at work. you know the brown clear ones.

paper over the top going down (hanging down). doesn't matter where i am, if i can change it, i will.

Paper goes OVER. It even says that on the little signs on how to install it (at public restrooms).

I put it on the holder either way, I don't mind if it goes over or under as long as it's on the holder, but it ALWAYS manages to get on the shelf behind the toilet.

To be honest, I don't even put it in the TP dispenser because I'm too short to reach it. Literally, if I'm on the toilet, I can't reach the TP unless it's on the back of the toilet. I can't stand it when my husband puts the roll in the dispenser-I know, how many women have THAT complaint?

Personally, my preferance is over.

Depends if you have patterned paper or a cat.
