I was on my Myspace page, I use Myspace more than my actual email account, and I received an email asking me to help in banning the Myspace account, F*ck the troops. What the h e double hockey sticks is that all about?!? I understand your right to free speech but this is down right offensive! All these men and women are doing is following orders! Do you think they enjoy being away from their families for months, even years at a time, missing birthdays and holidays? Do you think they love having bullets whizzing by their heads or watching people whom they have grown close to killed right next to them? Really, people, free speech and everything aside, use a little tact. And instead of hating the troops, hate the people that brought them there in the first place.

I agree. Try not to forget that freedom isn't actually free. It's the troops that pay the price. While I may not agree with the politicians who send our troops over. they(the troops) will always have my support. I hope that someone on myspace brings up that point.

I second that. Whether you agree with the war or not, the fact remains that for the time being we're at war. Blaitant disrepect for the soldiers is uncalled for. Our troops are serving to keep our country safe from those who can harm us. They are making our nation a safer place to live, raise our children, and enjoy our lives. Using profanities to express one's disagreement with the war doesn't do anything but show that person's ignorance. If anything we should Thank the Troops for serving us and for the sacrifice that they have made to keep our country great, whether you agree that war was warranted or not.
