Ipod Shuffle

yupp. First off, you need to download itunes. Then, you have to put all of your music onto the ipod by copying it in through itunes. basically, what you did was use your ipod as a storage device. The music's there, your ipod just can't read it. Go to itunes.com, and download the latest version ;)

Did you get the songs from iTunes? I have heard some people say that only iTunes songs work on iPods. I haven't gotten mine yet, but I'm supposed to be getting one from freeappleipodnano.com I've never tried anything like that before, but I've heard really good things about it.
