I don't watch many movies. I like comedy, romance and drama. I don't like science fiction or horror. Adventure or history can be exciting. I like movies about family life. I love it when a movie shows beautiful scenery like in the movie "The Beach" and in the movie "The Motor Cycle Diaries". Can you suggest any movies that I might like? Thanks

have you seen Moulin Rouge? I was re-watching it the other night, and I just love it. it's got a real old hollywood esque glamour about it. lots of colours and lights and costumes, and music and a really lovely story. sad, but lovely. the style is almost surreal. in that it's not quite real, like a scene with singing and dancing off the roof of a building and into the clouds. that's the sort of old hollywood thing to me. and it's lovely. one of my favourite films, even though it's completely different to most of the sorts of films I enjoy.

Hi maximax, I really really enjoy watching movies. If you enjoy watching drama, you can try "Big Fish", its a great movie, lot of messages in it. For comedy I fully recommended "Chuck and Larry" the movie is hillarious, when I watch that movie I laugh so much until I got my stomach cramps, "Lake House" for romance, it was a really touching movie. Hope it can help. SMILE

There are so many wonderful movies out there to choose from. I just watched The Lake House again recently. It such a heartwarming romantic story. While You Were Sleeping was awfully funny. So was Miss Congeniality and Part 2. I love Sweet Home Alabama and Clueless. Legally Blonde and Part 2 were also really funny. They get you cheering for the underdog. The Sister Act movies are also fun. They make you sing along with them. If you mean something newer, I just watched Mr Woodcock on pay per view last night and found it fairly humorous too.

It's a Wonderful Life - The Ghost appears to James Stewart in "It's a Wonderful Life". A great movie.
Well, I haven't been to the movies in a long time. I can't sit still long enough especially if the film gets boring. But, having said that, I will suggest a couple of classic films which I enjoyed, which are both a lesson in life, involve friendly ghosts and losing and finding one's self. The first of these great and popular movies, which is very old, (released in 1946) is James Stewart's "It's a Wonderful Life". People of all ages can relate to this, and I think its great popularity is justified. It is non-essentially, a Christmas movie. I say non-essentially because it's based around Christmas time, but not the type of movie you would confine to Christmas viewing. It's a year-round, quite weepy, but thought-provoking film about a guy who loses his way in life, but then is guided to find himself again. Well worth at least one watch. I watch it over and over. The second, in this category, is "Ghost", with Patrick Swayze, Demi Moore and Whoopi Goldberg. This depicts Patrick Swayze, who returns to his love for a while. It is weepy, but Whoopi Goldberg injects a certain amount of comedy into the story. I cry every time I watch either of these, and believe me, I've watched them a fair few times. But they are excellent films, and I'm sure you'll enjoy them. I'm also a lover of history and legend, and am well into Arthur, Merlin and Robin Hood. All of these have provoked the making of films, and the latest Merlin one, although it contains obvious scenes of violence, and I have only seen snippets, appears to be worth a watch. I'm on the look out for it. I can watch films about the other two legends until the cows come home, and they bring home the real stories from history, and how difficult times were. Well, I'd better cease there, before I write you a book, lol. Brightest Blessings for happy viewing.

I haven't seen any new movies recently, but a classic that you might enjoy is Sleepless in Seattle. That is to say, if you haven't seen it. Then again, this is a great movie to watch over and over again.

Some of the movies I watch are those what they call underrated, like Rat Race. This comedy film was also based from those booming reality games shows, like the Amazing Race. It has a great cast like Rowan Atkinson, Whoopie Goldberg, Cuba Gooding, Jr. and many more. But still, they didn't faired that well on the big screen though I love it. If you haven't seen it yet, I suggest you watch it and see for yourself what I was talking about!;)

The first movie that comes to mind is Out Of Africa. The scenery in this film is great. It is a love story that is filmed as an epic. Do you like older movies? If so the best movie about family life that I can think of is The Best Years Of Our Lives. It is about 3 servicemen coming home from WWII.Since you like romance, I have a few titles. The English Patient, The Bridges Of Madison County, Love Story, and Mayerling. What era do you like in history? What type of comedies do you like? Do you like slapstick or " gross out" comedies they make today?I need to know so I can suggest the right type of films. Do you like thrillers. Not horror but mystery stories with a surprise ending? If so , You have to try my favorite, Usual Suspects.

I highly HIGHLY recommend the Beautiful Life, An Italian film that is so moving and beautiful. we watched it first in the Italian and then in English and while the English was just as good with voice - it did not have all the charm as in the Italian. this is my favorite modern made movie.

I have been meaning to watch Gosford Park, which is a story about the british upper and servant classes. I have heard that it is really good but i haven't managed to get a dvd of it yet. I enjoy watching period movies like sense and sensibility and pride and prejudice. Vanity Fair was also interesting. I am looking forward to watching Atonement, the latest hit. And perhaps 27 dresses, just for a laugh.

Have you seen "The Notebook"? starring James Garner, Gena Rowlands, Rachel McAdams, Ryan Gosling and Joan Allen. It's pretty neat. I assure you that it will not be a waste of time.

Comedy, Romance, Drama, Family Life...I'm thinking you should watch Knocked Up ha ha! It doesn't have the best scenery in it though but that movie is so funny. And actually has a pretty good drama and romance story behind it. It's not a movie for children though just to give you the heads up.
