Is myLot lowering IQ's? Does it promote a shortcut to thinking? Does your prefrontal cortex feel numb?

Speaking for myself only, my cortex is just dandy. But then, I do a lot of things with my spare time besides myLot. Such as: reading, teaching myself physics and Russian, knitting, writing... As for everyone else, well, it's not my place to say.

Well, thanks but I'm not sure if that exactly answers my question entirely. I'd like to know if other people on here share the opinion that myLot thrives on mundane and entirely banal conversation.

Don't most forums thrive on mundane and banal conversation? Also, keep in mind that people are posting crap for money.

Ah, posting "crap for money". Well, I've got boatloads of relevant material ready to unload but I guess I was just hoping for something more...

i think it depends on how you answer the questions. If you feel like answering it in a more detailed way nobody is stopping you.

Yes, but does responding to idiotic posts with eloquence really make the discussion any less idiotic?

Yes, yes, YES!!! LOL. All kidding aside, I've seen some really good discussions on here. It seems lately though that it's getting harder and harder to get resonses if you post questions that require any in depth thinking or answering. That's been my experience at least.

Like they you to say in the Marines, it's time to weed out all non-hackers!

More users = more discussions = more idiocy. Sadly.

I think not.I'm a foreigner and I can learn English and some knowlege at the same time from native English speakers here. For example,I've never heard of "prefrontal cortex" before,so I can learn something new from your topic.

The only problem with your point is that the spelling on most of these posts are so poor that even native English speakers like myself have little idea what they mean.
