Well, I didn't always believe in dating or having a relationship with any girl in high school because of the simple fact of our age. I'm only 17, about to turn 18, and in my opinion, teens really shouldn't start dating until they're in college or at least in there 20's. It's just nothing more than physical love because I too was part of it. I never had a girlfriend, and I've avoid getting into dating throughout my years in high school or at least the high school I was going to. I never thought I would like anyone in my new school when I moved about 2 years ago. Well, somethings have changed. I'm a senior & there's this girl in my 6th period who I find attractive. I remember the first day everyone had to introduce themselves and when she did, I was like "wow, this girl is cute". These past couple of months I've gotten to know her a little better and find that she's smart, funny, creative, and attractive. Any ideas? Should I go for it? :D

I think you should go for it. You are missing out on a lot by not getting out there and going on dates and having fun. I mean sure, everyone knows that relationships that are started in high school rarely ever last, but you have to enjoy your time. If you think this girl is cute and you are finding that her personality and characteristics are what you look for in a girl then you should at least give it a shot. What if she is the one you want to be with but you don't give it a chance? You'll go off to college wondering what would have happened. Go for it man!

Yeah, problem is that I have no experience with dating, but that doesn't mean I shouldn't go for it. I haven't really asked her yet, but it would suck if she & I were going to different colleges that are FAR apart!

Well you have to get experience some time. And yeah I agree that it wouldn't be that great if the two of you went to separate colleges far apart but you will have to deal with that when it comes, if it turns into something strong then a long distance relationship could work. If not then you can move on. You can't be fearful of what will happen in the future or you will miss out on today. You know?

Yeah, very true. Just sitting around waiting won't do anything. I mean, nothing just falls into anyone's lap by just sitting there. Thanks for the advice!
