Any Senior Citizens out there?

As a Senior Citizen I sometimes get lonely for people my own age so I have joined a couple of chat rooms for Senior Citizens. However, I find that we all live in different parts of the world. The Senior Citizen's Center in my town is quite some distance from my residence and the people that go to it are much older than I am ( I am 66). How do Senior Citizens make friends with other Senior Citizens in this modern world? Any ideas?
