Do You Practice Servant Leadership?

Many successful people swear by servant leadership. In a way it is the secret to my success. All the stuff that I've been able to accomplish in my life is due to a genuine care for other people.

Now that you have forced me to think about it, I suppose I have been practising servant leadership without ever putting that label to it. Interestingly, my current president,President Yar'Adua of Nigeria announced it as his official creed but it never struck me in any particular manner. Maybe you can join us in Nigeria in watching whether indeed he will live up to that self commitment.We may all get round to learning something of this creed from him too. dudumodu

I hope things do turn out for your country. I will be keeping my eye on your country and pray that things get better. Africa needs responsible leadership at this juncture, and I think some countries there are in the position to help there neighbors along. Thanks for commenting.

Yea, I believe in servant leadership. Great leaders became such because of that character. I hope I can do too to other people.

You are absolutely right. All the great leaders that I know are characters, people say that I'm a character. Thanks for commenting.
