Girls that play video games

Okay guys you are up at bat. It seems like everytime I play G.R.A.W online I get the same questions or reactions from guys. "Are you a girl? How do you know how to play so well?" or my favorite of all time "You play video games??!!"
So tell me is there something wrong with a girl wanting to sit down and play some Madden 08, NBA Live 08, or any video game at all and actually be good at it??

No not at all... i think thats pretty hot if you ask me... But thats the first thing i thought when you played me in NFSCarbon.. I didnt really thin k you played/// but yea its all good .. some girls play better than most guys

yea, so wat about if a girl wanted 2 play football with the guys? would u let her play but the only thing is that you have to tag her n evryone else tackles...would u let her play?

I am a girl, and when i have time i play video games, I can't say that i am the greatest at them, because i dont have a lot of time to practice! but i used to be fairly well at UT, and battlefield vietnam! on pc, i could keep up with my guy friends, and we used to have lan parties and play and drink. *giggles* i was just one of the guys playing games. but now i have a kid, an one on the way, i dont have a whole lot of uninterupted time to play. Like i can mylot, cause if she needs something or wants attention, i can just stop and come back to it, but if i'm playing a game, its kind of hard to stop every 5-10 mins and keep up with the game!
The only game i've been playign lately is guitar hero, and not even playing that often :/

yea that is how i feel...just like one of the guys...actn like one, using the same words as them and everything.
like i understand dat u dont have the time. thats how my sister is and thats her fave game too. i personally havnt played it, is it any good?

the reaction its just 'cause its something common on men and its kinda weird to see a girl playing games like madden, nba or even GTA especialy when most of da girls hate violence and sports!!
but a really think its pretty cool that u play videogames!!

but hey i LOVE sports n violence...im tough lol

wow, there is nothing bad ata girl playing video games.. its actully normal.. playing video games as if u were a girl or boy its not bad...

I play TF2 a lot, and I avoid using the mic for the same reason _, people go wah??
But it's fun, i enjoy games.

Yeah, I think it's pretty cool that you play video games. It shows your open to new things. I guess there's a stereotype that girls think video games are dumb, too challenging and pretty much boy stuff. If you like playing video games, you're ok in my book! Keep on rocking!

I think it won't be problem to play with our friends either boys or girls and it doesn't matter and we can get more fun with them and why don't we play games with anyone and i am not girl and i can play games either boy or girl.

I love playing video games with my boyfriend! Whenever we play a really good game of Madden '08 against each other he tells me that he loves me even more now! haha I think most guys either think it's hot or get really competitive about it because they don't want to be beat by a girl!
