I know this discussion may look bit too harsh, but I know people who really relish the food and they are genuinely interested in trying new dishes every time and they are always in hunt of new type of food and new dishes as if eating is the only the task they are having with them! I know these people not only enjoy their food but they are never tired of appreciate or criticise the dish they had! They would spend a pretty good amount of time in discussion about the dish if any interested person comes across with them! I like food and any type of dish which is palatable and when I am really hgungry! I never go for dishes to try them if I am not hungry! Even if I am hiungry I am happy with my staple food and don't aspire to go for many types of dishes and I spend very little time in having my food and I am a man who eats to live and vice versa ! Please may I know what is your opinion about the food ? Do you live to eat or eat to live? Your participation will be greatly appreciated! Thanks !

I like to take food. When a nice dish come to me, I exist very much. But I also feel that the food for live. We who have a good ability spend time & food but we don't look back, there are some people is waiting for a little food which by they can live.We should understand & mind their neediness.

Now that you put it that way... I'd normally say I eat to live because that's the normal thing you have to if you wanna live right and that's to eat. But now if I think about it, I sometimes live to eat too because even though I'm not hungry, I get this CRAVINGS (no am not pregnant) and I can't resist but eat some or if the dish looks really delicious, I'd really go chow it down. And sometimes I'd choose more delicious over stale food because come on, people would definitely choose the one with more flavors in it. But of course we must also be health conscious. But If i am put in a situation wherein I have no more money, then I'd really be eating to live. I hope I'll be able to survive. haha! Man i sound like such a glutton! lolz

I eat to live... but that don't mean that I don't appreciate good food. On the contrary... if you eat to live... that mean that you don't eat much... and can afford to eat the very best. For most people... food is one of the great joy in life. When people get together... there is almost always an invitation to stay for dinner. It is a ritual as much as going out to have a drink with someone. But like you... I only eat if I am hungry. If I am not hungry... I will not force myself to eat lunch because it is lunch time.

Personally, I eat ONLY when I absolutely have to. Sometimes once a day or maybe once every two days. I have gone up to three or four days without eating, simply because I don't get hungry, BUT, I DO take vitamin supplements EVERY DAY!

I'm a grazer. I don't consume a great quantity of food at one sitting, but my food choices are not nutritionally sound, so I'm overweight. I like fast food, general junk food and sweets. I eat some foods even if I'm not hungry. Does that mean I live to eat? I guess it does! LOL (not funny) to admit this and own it. I don't cook much since I live alone, and I want to eat healthy, yet I'm non-compliant. Bread is my biggest bug-a-boo. I don't like salad real well, but do like cooked vegetables. I prefer processed foods over natural. I like food that tastes good, and that's the bottom line for me.

Food is very good for Us to live but we just not live with food or bread alone but in every words that comes from the mouth of God :) if you feel hungry its our human body but in spiritual we need to feed also our spirit with words of God (BIBLE).then you will not be hungry. about Food i am very good cook :) Well, you can have it as you want but not greediness, yes eat all you can as long as you know how to disciple yourself. Food is just a substantial to live and give yourself more water. Vegetables and fruits are very good also. :)

I guess I would say I eat to live because there are many times I go without food because I am either too exhausted to eat or just dont fell like it. I alos fast sometimes so I guess that would count. I love to cook and have people trying out my dishes but the eating part I am not much on but I do love food to a certain extent

I do not eat much.. sometimes i forget to lunch . But to eat good is important. Try new flavors and dishes is wonderful. We can learn more of a culture experiencing dishes. Today the cooking is a respected science and well..because our health has close link with the food. Hunt new dishes can be fun if not for the primary purpose of life. If someone lives to eat..something is not well.. can be the body with some dysfunction..or a psychological problem that should be viewed with caurtion.

Hello,Rao! i eat to live.so also others should try to eat to live and not live to eat.it is wise to eat only when you are hungry.don't eat because it is lunch or dinner time.minimise fat foods{fast foods, red meat, pokodas, samosas etc.}.eat more fruits and vegetables.if you eat out, drive past the fast food restaurants, thy are no doubt affordable but serve mostly unhealthy foods.dont eat between meals.eat good breakfast and lunch,a light dinner and little or nothing after 9pm.then you will live a healthy life and vice versa.thank you.

i am very much not a big fan of eating simply because i have stuffy nose issues which makes it difficult for actually tasting much of the food i am eating...
