Are you afraid of clowns?

According to Reuters, children dislike and may even be fearful of clowns. A study conducted by the University of Sheffield had 250 hospitalized children interview (between the ages of 4-16), concluding that children dislike the use of clowns. Also, some of the older kids were scared of clowns. Are you afraid of clowns?

I am 19 and terrified of clowns! I was at my work party and I didnt realize there was a clown beside me needless to say i SCREAMED. I hate them for only one reason. There is a person in there, and their drawn on face makes it impossible for me to identify who they are. Yet most people would leave their children in the presents of a clown! what if that clown was a pedofile? you could never know his true identity I just find them creepy and I hate balloons too btw!

You got a point there.I have sen a lot of kids getting scared at the sight of clowns why even The Santa.It is sad that most of the guys inside the attire don't realize this and keep on busy with their stupid acts..

No I am not afraid of clowns,but I can see where some kids could be. They are big and they have White faces with big noses.You would think since kids like Ronald Mc Donald that they will like other clowns, but I guess not.

nope i dont afraid to the clowns but i remember my niece when she 1st time to see the clown she really afraid and shaking she was only 3 yrs old that time and she hug me very thight and hide his face in my neck she doesnt like to open his eyes until we reached to the house.
