Good Web Site About Microbiology?

Can anyone recommend a few good Web sites that give some good, basic information on microbiology, microorganisms, cell biology, etc.? I do work for a company that deals with scientific/medical photographs and I need to learn about the fundamentals and terminology of this kind of stuff. I'm sure there are plenty of good university sites for students, but I don't know how to being looking. Any suggestions of good sites that people have used would be welcome!
