I think, unfortunately that the clippers will not get any worse or much better, but just remain in the midddle of a pack team.
I wish they would get good enough to reach the 8th and finally playoffs spot in the west.. but the west is just too good. Or at least that they would turn horrible enough to gain a top five pic. in next years draft.
So will they get better or worse?

I think the Clippers is a xo-xo team.. Xoxo meaning an unpredictable team whether they can win a game against this team and the other. They are currently the 12th team in the west with a 12-24 record. The first half of the season is almost over, after that.. it's the all star break . Speaking of all-star, the Clippers badly need one to have a chance to reach the playoffs by the time the season ends. They need Elton Brand. He is their main man but sadly he is injured. If he'll get back to the line-up again, the Clippers will have more chance of winning more ball games and eventually reach the playoffs.
About how good are the Western Conference teams.. Yah! You're definitely right. They are good and highly competitive. If ever the Clippers won't win games and end their season with a low record, they should definitely draft a point guard in my opinion. Sam Cassell is a good veteran point guard but he really is getting old. They need some young players particularly a point guard with veteran mind sets.
-Best of luck to your team- :)

You are completely correct in all of this.
And good point about the clips drafting a point guard. They already have Kaman at the center, AL T. will grow into the small forward position, and if he does not leave C. Magg is here too, and when E.B. returns from injury hell continue to be the solid power forward that he has been.
So that leaves the point guard position with Cassel that likely wont be here next year and Livingston who is a question mark as to how well hell be able to play, after recovering from that nasty injury.
So unless the Clips get a super high pick.. getting a pg will be a good idea.

You are definitely right. There's a 50/50 chance for Sam Cassell to either get signed again by the Clippers or not. About Shawn Livingston, he can definitely play ball but he's just too prone to injuries even just months after he got drafted, he missed his rookie debut because of his injuries. He's too thin, he needs to put more weight in him.
Also, I hope C. Kaman can consistently play well with his double-double figures regardless if Elton Brand will be back soon or not so that the Clippers can win more. Corey Maggette needs too improve well offensively. He has the body for defense, all he needs to do is to improve scoring, shooting, driving through the lane and also with passing.
Cheers
