Tax Rebate? Responsible Citizen?

The tax rebate that will be given to Americans is to spur consumer spending. The financial means in me is telling me to save the money becuase I need it later. But, the part of me that understands economics is telling me to not save and spend to spur the economy. Of course, it is not only 1 persons obligation to stimulate the economy. In economics, saving is a leakage. So, what will you do. I'm leaning towards saving and letting someone else do the spending, im not sure.
