Approximate value of a Chadwick violin circa 1920

I have been playing my grandfather's violin, German made Chadwick which he bought in 1920. A local musician told me I should have it appraised, but I don't really have access to someone who could appraise it. Does anyone know what the approximate value might be? It's in great condition, with the original velvet chinrest cover. Thanks.
