Okay so I'm watching the AFC Championship game earlier. Before it started the injuries were listed as Phillip Rivers and Antonio Gates being doubtful to play and Ladanian Tomlinson being questionable or probable (meaning it was more likely that he would play than the other two) Well Rivers and Gates played pretty much the whole game. But Tomlinson only ran two times for like five yards. I don't get this. It's the biggest game of the year and he isn't going to get out there and push through his injury? Sure he didn't want to risk any long term injury but it was for a chance to go to the Super Bowl! You have to play hurt. If the Chargers would have won that game then he would have had two weeks to rest and they would have been playing in Arizona next which would be the exact same climate as being in San Diego. I just don't see how he could sit there on the sidelines while his team struggled. I thought the Chargers could have won that game if they had LT in there. I recall 4 separate situation where they were in the Red Zone and the drive ended in a field goal or no points at all when if LT had been in there they might have been able to get into the end zone. They blew this game. LT let all his fans and teammates down in my opinion. New England proved why they are number one in the NFL this season. Brady threw three interceptions and the defense and running game still proved to be strong enough to help out. So as it goes, The New England Patriots are heading to Arizona to go for 19 and 0. What a game it will be no matter who wins the NFC Championship. So what did you guys thing of the AFC Championship Game?

They played a good game. We will have to see if they can keep their dominance up for one more game, the big one. To me if they can't win this game then their 18-0 record up to this point won't quite mean as much as it would have had they gotten the ring.

LT has proven to me many years that he is the ultimate competitor so I really believe his injury and the probability of getting severely hurt was too great to justify him playing. I think he was going through one of those moments where he was on the bench looking disinterested but he was very frustrated inside and it probably took all he had to at least stand there and try to be supportive. Yes, he would have made a difference but the risk might have been too great. I think this will fuel the fire for him next year and I see the Chargers being a possible Super Bowl winner in the next 2 seasons with the way that franchise is developing and the talented roster they have.

I didn't see it but wasn't surprised New England won. They've run over every single team they've played. I think right now you can't really downplay it if they somehow lose in the Super Bowl. They've had a season that probably won't happen for a long time. If anything, it'll be something big if the team beats them but that being said, it's not likely though.
