UNO? Sorry? Chutes and Ladders? Cootie? My daughter is starting to have an interest in games. Remember Cootie? I bought it for her for Christmas. Not changed much since I had it as a kid.

I am the youngest of 6 kids, so I didn't really get to play the kind of games I would really enjoy. I remember sitting around with my parents and siblings playing things like Trivial Pursuit at the age of 8.

My favorite childhood game was Candyland,Old Maid,Go Fish,Sorry,Uno,Yahtzee, Bingo to name a few. But I loved alot of the games. I bought my little sister a Candyland game,Bingo,Go Fish and Old Maid for Christmas Because she is 6 and I figured she would love them as much as I did and she loves them and when she come for a visit we play all day and even my husband will jump in and play a few games. I think they are some greaet games that bring family together and spend quality time together instead of them playing a video game all the time or television.

The games I liked the best was Clue, Monopoly, and UNO. I have two young boys ages 4 and 6. I need to look into buying them some board games and all for their ages where they can learn to play and hopefully enjoy playing them.

My favorite games when I was little were candyland, operation and monopoly. My daughter got candyland for Christmas so she makes me play it with her all the time for some reason she always wins. My son got a spiderman operation game for Christmas I can beat him at that one as I have a fairly steady hand.

We use to play "sia-tong" and "jolens". It's interesting. If you don't know it, it's a kind of did games in the Philippines!
