Hi Friends... I am planning to buy a decent digital camera for personal use. Can anyone suggest a good camera with a small review on features. I am asking as many of you might be having a camera and has good hands on experience on the same. Please suggest and give your thoughts... Thanks

Hello dear vmadhavi. I got my digital camera with the brand Casio, made in Japan in 2005 and it is still in good use and takes clear pictures. It is a tiny one. But after comparing with the sony brand my friend has, I think that Sony brand seems to be better because it shows a clearer picture when taking a photo. I mean if I will update my digital camera, I would like to get a Sony brand. hehe. I hope that you will get some more responses from other friends to see what they will say about the brand they use. Good luck, my dear friend.

There is a great camera from Canon that is between a DSLR and a compact. It is the Canon S5IS. It will do everything that a DSLR will do and works as easily as a point and shoot too! Check out the Canon website and you can see the manual there to see what this camera can do.

in november i bought a digital camera. i got a samsung s750. its pretty darn good. it has a zoom lens. its 7.2megapixels. it on;y takes 2 AA batteries. without a memory card it can only hold about 7 pictures. but i got a 2GB memory card the same time i bought the camera and it lets me hold 1007 pictures. the camera has many different picture settings, including one for shakiness. meaning if you are like me my hands are always trembling a bit but this way when you take the picture it looks like it was taking by someone holding perfectly still. it has red eye reduction you can set the date and time on it. i like it and when i email my dad the pictures and he blows them up and prints them out he says they come out very clear.
